To Cairns

Set the alarm for a slightly paranoid 7am, given a 0955 flight, but that's 8am NSW time so it was ok really. Strange having to put the clock back when coming up the coast yesterday... Anyway, we returned the hire car at the domestic terminal, checked in and deposited bags, all in a pretty much automated fashion. No human interaction in check in and bag drop at all, with the result that it was very quick and we had plenty of time for coffee and muffin plus perusal of tourist tat shops. Need to buy articles of clothing for the girls, or will be in trouble when Jim gets his off duty life guard top. Want to buy stuffed koalas too, despite complete lack of real actual koalas on this trip so far. Have high hopes for koalas in Port Douglas.
