Girls back

Girls back from France this weekend, so a full-on children long weekend, with Jim staying until wednesday morning. Saturday Caroline was feeling a little ropes so we largely chilled and the kids played amiably. We went to the cinema to see The Lorax in the afternoon (verdict: good) and then to look at a 5 bedroom house in Shelford, which really wasn't us at all. 

Told Jim our news, and he seemed excited. Was very keen for us to organise another boy, as "that would be fair" as there would be three boys and three girls.

Sunday was busier. A very pleasant walk at Wandlebury, then we went to see another house in Shelford - a huge Edwardian semi which we really liked but are not entirely sure about, certainly without another viewing. Kids pronounced it "awesome". Min went to Eddie's in the afternoon while the rest of us had a slightly fractious trip to town to look at wedding gear for the chillen. Jim tried on the cutest little suit but I'm not sure I want home to out-smart me :-) The Finchams were typically generous in giving the boy an old but still very nice bike that used to be Eddie's.

C looked after them all on Monday and Tuesday despite still feeling a little ropey still. But all very happy.
